R U L E S
- General
- Please Respect everyone. No one is lower or higher then you, we are all equals and should be treated as such.
- Listen to Staff, if they ask you to change something, please do so. Everyone has an opinion, and we respect that, but if we find something that would cause harm we need to take action. If you have any problems with staff members please contact the main admin.
- Do not harass anyone, be it sexual, verbal or in such categories. If someone asks you to stop it, please do so. If you see no harm in your actions contact the main Admin and we can sort it out.
- Do not mini-mod. If you are not familiar with the term, mini-moding is acting as if you are staff. If you see minor issues with someone's post please notify them and direct them to this thread.
- Please restrict yourself with cursing. The minimal age here is 13, so please do not drop any f-bombs or use extremely foul language, without warning, as you do not know who will stumble upon your post.
- Do not flame, troll or belittle. We'd like to maintain a friendly community. If you have any problems with another member, please contact a Staff member, and handle the situation in a mature manner.
- Characters
- When registering please use the name of your character as your username. It helps us keep track, and we'd really appreciate if you'd do so. After registering, you may put anything in your display name as long as it includes your characters first and last name.
- One character to an account please. It makes our job a whole lot easier, so we don't have to keep track of how many characters an account has.
- The minimal age for your character is 14. Why? Because we'd like it if all our characters were at least in High School. If you'd like to request an exception, please contact the Admin
- Please, no killing off characters unless you have permission from the main admin and everyone involved agrees. If you are simply not wanting to play said character, put in up for adoption here.
- Although the minimal age for a character is 14, if your character becomes pregnant, you may play the offspring under the parents characters, and you may add them to your profile. No Male Pregnancy's. How dumb that sounds, I've seen it happen in other roleplays and I really dislike it.
- Check the Face Claim before you create your character, in case your preferred model has been taken. If your model is indeed free, post to reserve said model for up to 4 days while you make up your application.
- If your application didn't make the cut, the staff member who viewed your application will notify you of the mistakes and what needs to be tweaked. You have up to two weeks to fix your application after being notified. Some Exceptions Apply, contact the staff member who viewed your application to see if you can have an extension.
- Absolutely no Mary Sues or Gary Lou's. Gary and Mary's are perfect characters, with no flaws. They are unrealistic, and won't be accepted here. If you are unsure if you character is a Mary/Gary, please contact a staff member to view it and tell you if so.
- Roleplaying
- NO ONE LINERS. There is a 2-3 paragraph post requirement, if you cannot provide this, do not post until you can.We don't care about the quantity, but its the quality that counts. If you have writers block you can always chat with other members and try to get your imagination rolling again.
- No roleplaying sexual acts. This is basically cybering, and is not allowed. Kissing and fooling around are okay, but DO NOT go into detail, we don't want to upset anybody over this.
- I'd expect everyone to be familiar with this one, but I'll say it anyway; No God powers, you are in control of your character, and your character only. It's okay to describe anonymous characters actions, such as a person passing you on a street or a bartender, but don't make someone else's character do something they didn't do.
- Use spell check. It's your friend if you're unsure if you spelled something right, or just click the button before you post to see if you missed something.
- No chat speak while in character. Accepted only if your character is texting, IMing, emailing or something in that category.
- Please specify when talking out of character, either do brackets like so; [ooc; hi]. Or something, make it obvious to the other user that you are out of character.
- Cbox
- Keep cursing to a minimum.
- No fighting, if you have a problem with another member contact a staff member.
- Do not exclude other members from conversations, use PMs for conversations that you don't want others to post in.
- If you could welcome a new member that has joined, that would make them feel less awkward about making their first post in the cbox. And I'd appreciate it :)
- Remember, everyone can see what you post in the Cbox, don't reveal anything too personal in the box, as you never know who might be reading. Use PM's as a safer way of communicating private things.
