cannon? yes[ ] no[x]
[•]appearance|; Tall, slim, petite, and pretty, Landon looks like she belongs with a band or that she's always present at a concert. She has a tall but very slim body frame, and stands at about 5'7 or around that height, weighing in at about 114 lbs. So she's not fat or too skinny or light to the point of anorexia. She always wears makeup and can't go anywhere without her eyeliner. Piercings wise she's got both ears done, her nose and Monroe so she's a little edgy in that respect.
Her face is shapely, skin so fair and with a warm glow but without any natural flaws or imperfections - the only visible flaws exist whenever she makes them. Her eyes are a warm shade of brown, and these eyes are dubbed as quite mesmerizing towards the opposite sex as well. But she's usually happy, and her mood is easily conveyed with the look in her eyes - you can tell if she's mad or upset or anything else other than that. Her lips are thin and fitting to her facial structure, and there is always a hint of a flirtatious smirk and happiness. Her hair colour is naturally dark, but depending on how she feels she sometimes changes it from time to time, whether it be the colour or cut. The length is long and falls into her eyes, layered with a fringe on the left side of her face. Landon sometimes wears glasses but prefers her contacts, and the expression on her face usually reads bubbly or flirtatious. She carries herself with dignity and knows how to work her walk to get the boys staring at her - it's a tool that comes in handy sometimes. Her clothing style is random and colourful, and consists of various ornaments and necklaces that match her cut up/self-fixed shirts, jeans, skirts, and dresses. She partially has a knack for designing and piecing outfits together. Vintage and foreign things make her happy and she loves to wear those styles of clothing. Landon prides herself in her appearance. She loves dresses - long, short, casual, formal, whatever - shoes (as a typical girl does), tight skinny jeans, leggings with skirts and boots/heels, and she especially loves accessories such as headbands, earrings, necklaces, bows, rings, etc. Creative as she is, she always makes a point to be different and also to be outrageous, whether it be verbal or just visually. [•]played by|; Hanna Beth Merjos
[•]likes|;- Kiki
- fresh snow
- black and white photographs
- tea; give her coffee and chances are she'll go loopy on you and it's not a pretty sight.
- pencil drawings
- music; it's turned into a passion over the years whether it be her playing or someone else. It'll range from indie to old 80s metal to pop-punk. It's ever changing but she loves it.
- Freshly cut grass especially when there's a warm breeze around.
- Neon colours to a certain point.
- cupcakes; not for the taste more for the visual aspect of them.
- Sarcasm; it's key with her.
[•]dislikes|;- arrogance
- matching socks; call it strange but she can't match them up.
- rice-pudding; nothing should be that lumpy without it being illegal.
- Clowns
- Irish accents; confusing much?
- intense heat
- Disney bands; Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus- I'm sure you catch my drift, right?
- people judging her
- drunkards; fair play, get drunk but don't act like a total berk. Can't handle your drink, don't sink it in the first place.
- Chavs.
[•]personality|;Landon is really a sweet and mild-tempered girl. She takes life in stride and doesn't tend to sweat the petty things. Although she doesn't really show it, whenever she's around other people she has a tendency to pick out the bad things about them - and one thing that she's rather un-fond of is the way certain people carry themselves throughout their teens, either drunkenly or that they are so much better than everyone else. She has is very firm in the belief that you work hard to get anywhere you want to be and not just ride on family/friends or support from other people like with a popularity contest.
Her nature makes continuously nice to people as long as they are nice to her and don't give her a huge reason to not like them. But in reality, regardless of what people think about her, she could care less if they liked her or not. She is usually happy all the time, always with a smile or positive attitude, and she is quite passionate about a lot of things. Photography, art, and especially design are just a couple of her fiercest passions and she sticks to them closely. Music is a great influence to her as well - she knows how to play most instruments (as she was taught by her brother) and she has a good voice, but though she loves it, she prefers to perform in the aspect of visual art through her photography - which she absolutely prides herself on, because she is very good at finding angles and muses to convey her artistry.
She is intelligent and witty, but can be seen as sarcastic and crazy whenever she's with friends. She absolutely loves to talk, and she enjoys remaining approachable to all that may require her advice or simply wish to carry on a conversation. She isn't oblivious to people flirting with her and Landon's natural amusement and tendency to flirt aids her in having her own fun with people around her. In a sense, it's a security that she has, knowing that she doesn't have to be different or anything other than herself and yet still be noticed.
Landon doesn't like her name mainly because to her it sounds like a boy's name which it probably is and will point out that she'll blatantly ignore you if you call her it. Dolly, though not much better, is what she writes down no matter what the document is, and it's the name most of her friends call her so whether you think it's silly or not you have no choice but to call her it.

[•]familiars name|; Kiki [•]species familiar resembles|; Chipmunk [•]picture of familiar|;pretty picture [•]role.play example|;"Landon" Dolly look over, eyebrow raised in defiance "it's Dolly, cheers" she pointed out, looking forward again. She'd always been a little hostile toward anyone using her first name because she found it rather offensive however, they'd also strapped her to a chair so that wasn't going to do them any favours when it came to manners. Dolly was pretty mild-tempered, and also had excellent manners but she was worried and when Landon Cartwright was worried it was a whole different ball game. She looked up, brown eyes inspecting the squint to the right of her "I'm not going to turn into the Hulk, am I? Y'know, side effects" The scientist shook her head, chuckling with amusement "it could happen" she paused, leaning her body away from the approaching needle in all it's silver, glinting glory "I doubt Bruce Banner laughed in fact, I doubt anybody laughed when he got all mardy with them..you wouldn't like me when I'm..ow, geez" she gritted her teeth, eyes giving the lab rat evils "you didn't have to ram it in..frigging sadist" the last part Landon hissed through her still gritted teeth.
Sucking the air back as the needle got pulled back out she carried on giving dirty looks "be it on you if I turn green" she mumbled, wishing she could rub her arm but the cotton wool ball placed, and eventually sticky taped to her arm eased the urge. She looked around again, watching them throw the needle into a yellow and orange sharps bin, and wheel the silver, sterile trolley away. Landon sighed, maybe it wasn't going to work on her? She had zero lucky but then again Landon had zero patience too currently. The brunette zoned out partially, though tempted to mention that she needed to be unstrapped, and stayed silent, eyes on the wall.
She jerked back, feeling something on her "thought you only needed to do it once" she blurted out before realising what it actually was. She blinked, eying the animal on her lap. Landon tilted her head off to the side, curiously looking at it and the funny thing was the chipmunk did the same, cheeriness glimmering in it's eyes. She smiled, the expression slowly forming and before she even thought about it her lips parted more and a fondness found itself in her soft voice "Kiki?"
Ahh, the tale of how she founded her friend, it was always something that helped cheer her up when the rain came down, and the clouds darkened.
